Day 280- Leggings are not pants!

I wish that everyone would realize that leggings are not pants.  The other day, I was subbing at an elementary school and I was shocked at how the teachers were dressing.  Most of them were in jeans, which must be acceptable in this school.

However, two of them were in sweatpants and t-shirts.  One was in leggings and a t-shirt.  The t-shirt only went to the waist, so clearly the leggings were being worn as pants. 

How can you be taken seriously when you are wearing leggings like they are pants?  Seriously.  She wasn't wearing pants.  Just leggings.  It was so annoying.

Dress for the job you want, not the job you have.

Day 279- Best Florist Sign Ever

This is seriously the best florist sign ever.  "How mad is she?"

Day 278- Whiten Toenails

I keep seeing this pin on Pinterest.  It says that you can whiten toenails by scrubbing your nail with a toothbrush and whitening toothpaste.  I thought for sure that it wouldn't work, so I tried it.

My toenails have been looking dirty and gross ever since I started running again.  I have been putting hydrogen peroxide in the water when I soak my feet in ice water, but it hasn't been enough.  I didn't have anything to lose.

I certainly wasn't going to waste a toothbrush, so I used my finger to rub the toothpaste onto my toenails.  I made sure to get under the nail as best I could.  Then, I let it sit for a couple of minutes before rinsing my foot off. 

Surprisingly, my toenails were much whiter.  My big toes are still a little discolored, but the rest of them look amazing.  And my feet smell minty fresh.  The only bad part was that the toothpaste seemed to dry out my skin a little.

Day 277- Make Flip Flops Cute

I love this idea.  You can take a cheap pair of flip flops and make them look like nice sandals.  Personally, I don't like the beads that they use in the pin, but I love the idea. 

Day 276- Shaving Legs for Summer

This was how I felt when I had to shave my legs to wear a dress this morning. Of course, this pin has some errors, but the message is alright.

Day 275- How to set a table

A week ago, my mom, my sisters, and I were watching Downton Abbey.  This led to a fight about how to set a table.  My mom thought that Carson was setting the table wrong.   I never thought I would fight about that, but I did.   I tried to explain that he was doing it right, but she wouldn't listen.

If I had known about this pin, I would have won the disagreement.

Day 274- Pixilated Towel

I know several people who would love to get the pixilated towel.  It would make a hilarious Christmas or birthday present.  Seriously, someone is getting this in their stocking this year.
