Day 220- DIY Lace Scarf

I love this scarf that I saw on Pinterest. It's so cute and I love the green color.  The best part of this pin?  It's DIY with the instructions included! 

Here's what you need:

fabric: 1/2 yard for a pretty thick scarf. The pin scarf was made with jersey knit. 

Lace: About a yard.  The lace in the pin was from a curtain.  Such a great way to reuse fabric.

Thread. 

Start by sewing the lace on with part of the design on the jersey. Just using a zig zag stitch, sew a straight along the edge of the jersey.

Use a zig zag stitch to secure it along the sides.
