This is a pin for a DIYer. You can fix a stripped hole with a golf tee! Who would have thought? This would have saved me a lot of time and money.
I can't wait for someone to pull the handle off our sunroom door, so I can use this time. (It happens once a week, so I won't have to wait long.)
Fixing a stripped hole with a golf tee:
1. Put wood glue in the hole
2. Hammer golf tee into hole
3. Use box cutter to cut off excess tee
4. Drill pilot hole and screw new screw directly into the tee!
