I saw this pin about a four strand braid called a sailor’s
knot. I had never heard of or seen it
before. It was surprisingly easy once I
got into the rhythm of it. It looks more
complicated that it really was. I love
that it makes a very unique braid.
You take the hair and divide it into four sections. Number them from left to right- 1,2,3,4. Put
1 over 2 and 3 over 4. Then, put 1 over
4. Renumber them from left to right and
repeat.
