Today, I decided to do a doily bowl :
Now, I don’t really have need for a bowl like they use in
the example, but I do need coasters, so that is what I decided to make and it
worked out extremely well.
First I took my clay and rolled it out. Then, I cut it to the size I wanted (about 4 inches
by 4 inches). I pressed lace into the
clay. Press it hard and evenly to ensure
that all the details are shown and carefully peel the lace off. It’s pretty simple. I just set it out to dry and that was that.
It really is square. I don't know why it looks so misshapen in the picture. It's probably just my great photography skills.
